For testing, the easiest way would be testing this together with the storage role changed (https://issues.redhat.com/browse/RHEL-31854), but the change also includes tests (see `tests/storage_tests/devices_test/stratis_test.py`) which also runs in gating and examples of stratis management with blivet (see `examples/stratis.py` and `examples/stratis_clevis_tang.py`) that can be also used for testing.
