What were you trying to do that didn't work?

Customer has a PowerEdge R650 server. The IO (mouse and keyboard) doesn't respond and the OS appears to be stuck/hung when trying to change display settings from landscape to other.

Please provide the package NVR for which bug is seen:

      gnome-shell-3.32.2-50.el8.x86_64

      How reproducible:

      Always

      Steps to reproduce

      1. Install RHEL 8.8 OS
      2. Go to settings -> display -> change the orientation landscape to other available option for example portrait right
      3. Click on apply

      Expected results

Screen should flip to portrait mode.

      Actual results

The screen changes its orientation but the OS gets Stuck. Mouse and keyboard don't work to select “keep changes” option, Hence after 20 seconds the orientation changes back to default which is landscape.
