What were you trying to do that didn't work?

Booting of a RHEL-10.0-20240318.5 installation failed with the following message in the console:

[ 125.518349] systemd[1]: Failed to fork off sandboxing environment for executing generators: Protocol error

Please provide the package NVR for which bug is seen:

systemd-255.3-1.el10.x86_64

How reproducible:

Expected results

System (installation environment) boots up properly.

Actual results

Boot to installation environment fails and stops with the following message:
systemd[1]: Failed to fork off sandboxing environment for executing generators: Protocol error

Additional notes

Unfortunately I wasn't able to reproduce this bug yet, but I think it makes sense to have this ticket to track it in case there is some new occurrence and more information can be gathered. Also I'm not sure whether systemd is the right component, but let's keep it that way until there's more information available or someone with more expertise can tell where exactly the root cause stems from.
