Description of problem:
After the update to RHEL-8.6 running on the Lenovo P1gen2 laptop, the touchpad/trackpoint device is not working properly. The movement of the mouse cursor is choppy. Touchpad's sensitivity also decreased and is basically unusable.
When using it, the journal is getting filled with
