Due to spamassasin component, libdb is intended to be built in EPEL10.

To persist the upgrade path as clear as possibe, there is a plan to implement Leap actor, that should warn users about libdb removal and provide advice to convert existing databases into another supported format. To make the migration possible, a converting script/tool must be provided. Since, during the upgrade, there are available packages from RHEL9, so a tool for conversion will be added to RHEL9.5.

      Expected solution:

      RHEL10 without libdb support

RHEL9.5+ ships tool for conversion libdb->GDBM

Leap actor warns about libdb removal and guides to convert existing databases
