      Description of problem:
I am experiencing display lagging in GUI applications when moving from
RHEL 8.6 to RHEL 8.8 with the latest packages such as moving from
      mesa-dri-drivers-21.3.4-1.el8.x86_64 to mesa-dri-drivers-22.3.0-2.el8.x86_64.

Holding back this mesa driver solves the lagging for us.

We need this fixed so we can stay up to day with security updates

Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable):
      mesa-dri-drivers-22.3.0-2
      RHEL 8.8

      How reproducible:
      100% of the time

      Steps to Reproduce:
      1. Install RHEL 8.6 kickstart
      2. Update Packages to RHEL 8.8
      3. Observe screen lag upon reboot

      Actual results:
Display is lagging when opening GUI applications. We have a testing application
which now takes 8 minutes to complete

      Expected results:
Display does not lag when opening GUI applications. When screen does not lag
our testing application takes just under two minutes
