We are requesting a feature similar to a previous offering for Ansible Tower showing uwsgi worker usage, idle, busy, cheaper, harriaki, etc.:

A json file to drop into grafana with everything already set would be an ideal solution.

For sure.  First issue is the uwsgi metrics were only recently added to PCP upstream, so is not yet released (should be in pcp-6.2.1 mid-April by current schedule).

Looking at the code, it uses an HTTP GET on localhost:9051 (by default) to extract metrics.  Do you have an Ansible controller machine setup internally exporting metrics on that port that we could use?  Alternatively, we can build PCP from upstream git and install it on the Ansible machine - this is a more complicated option though.

Regarding jsonnet, this is how Grafana dashboards are setup in code - here's an example:

            https://github.com/performancecopilot/grafana-pcp/blob/main/src/datasources/vector/dashboards/pcp-vector-mssql-server.jsonnet

Sam (rh-ee-sfeifer) will be able to help more with that, and there may be ways to export that example Prometheus dashboard you mentioned to kick-start that effort.

[I'll assign this ticket to Sam but I'll be working with him on the PCP metrics side of things]
