      On ppc64le there is the problem that multiple cpus need to be configured for the system to boot. But with each configured cpu the kernel's memory footprint increases. There's ongoing work to remove this limitation so the kernel can be booted with nr_cpus=1 (like it is done for other architectures) and thus reduce the memory required for kdump.
