What were you trying to do that didn't work?

I was trying to install a RHEL-10 compose, but the installer failed to fetch repodata due to a problem with resolving hostnames.

      From the installer environment:

      [anaconda root@localhost ~]# ls -l /etc/resolv.conf
      lrwxrwxrwx. 1 root root 39 Feb 22 08:14 /etc/resolv.conf -> ../run/systemd/resolve/stub-resolv.conf
      [anaconda root@localhost ~]# cat /run/systemd/resolve/stub-resolv.conf
cat: /run/systemd/resolve/stub-resolv.conf: No such file or directory
      [anaconda root@localhost ~]# resolvectl
Failed to get global data: Could not activate remote peer: activation request failed: unknown unit.
      [anaconda root@localhost ~]#

Please provide the package NVR for which bug is seen:

      RHEL-10.0-20240222.8
      anaconda-40.21-2.el10

      How reproducible:

      Always

      Steps to reproduce

      1. Start graphical installation from boot.iso
      2. Configure a URL repository in GUI

      Expected results

      Metadata fetched successfully

      Actual results

Unable to fetch metadata due to hostname resolution problem
