What were you trying to do that didn't work?

Unable to update to https://access.redhat.com/errata/RHSA-2024:0764 on a system which has the latest 8.6 EUS slirp4netns

Please provide the package NVR for which bug is seen:

Both EUS:

8.8 Latest - slirp4netns-1.2.0-2.module+el8.8.0+21265+93802b02.x86_64.rpm
8.6 Latest - slirp4netns-1.2.0-3.module+el8.6.0+17704+41732ca0.x86_64

Steps to reproduce

1. yum install slirp4netns --enablerepo=rhel-8-for-x86_64-appstream-eus-rpms --releasever=8.6
2. yum update slirp4netns --enablerepo=rhel-8-for-x86_64-appstream-eus-rpms --releasever=8.8

Expected results

Resolve RHSA-2024:0764 by updating. I suspect what we needed here was to bump to 1.2.0-3 as had been done in the 8.6 stream.

Or we need confirmation that slirp4netns-1.2.0-3 is not vulnerable to RHSA-2024:0764
