What were you trying to do that didn't work? - While using Japanese input method(IM) i.e. ibus-anthy in gedit, observed that user is not able to switch to the next/previous IM using the keyboard shortcut keys. The cursor moves ahead with space key. This is not observed for other IMs like ibus-hangul or ibus-libpinyin.

Could it be the impact of the changes in 40.9-15? - Fix ordering of keyboard modifiers relative to other keyboard events
        Resolves: #2218146

Workaround is to switch to Eisu mode (ctrl+space) and then user is able to switch the IM.

Please provide the package NVR for which bug is seen:

      RHEL 9.4

      ibus-anthy-1.5.13-1.el9.x86_64
      ibus-1.5.25-5.el9.x86_64
      mutter-40.9-15.el9.x86_64

      How reproducible:

      Always

      Steps to reproduce

      1. Launch gedit with ibus-anthy as the input method
      2. Try to switch to the next IM by using keyboard shortcut super+space
      3. unable to switch the IM, cursor just goes ahead with space key

      Expected results

User should be able to switch IMs using keyboard shortcut keys for ibus-anthy

      Actual results

User is unable to switch the IMs usng keyboard shortcut keys.
