What were you trying to do that didn't work?

When testing lvm thin-provisioning, thinpool volume creation fails with warning:

      # lvcreate -V 5G -T vg00/thinpool -n crashvol
WARNING: Integrity check of metadata for pool vg00/thinpool failed.
Check of pool vg00/thinpool failed (status:64). Manual repair required!
Failed to activate thin pool vg00/thinpool.

There was no such issue during CTC2 testing, in which the lvm2 version is 9:2.03.21-2.el9.

      How reproducible:

      Always on ppc64le.

      Steps to reproduce

      1. umount /dev/sda3
      2. vgcreate vg00 -f /dev/sda3
      3. lvcreate -L 50M -T vg00/thinpool
      4. lvcreate -V 5G -T vg00/thinpool -n crashvol (this will fail)
      5. mkfs.xfs /dev/vg00/crashvol
      6. systemctl start lvm2-monitor && vgchange --monitor y
      7. mount /dev/vg00/crashvol /vg00
      8. systemctl status lvm2-monitor

      Expected results

      + umount /dev/sda3
      + vgcreate vg00 -f /dev/sda3
        Wiping xfs signature on /dev/sda3.
        Physical volume "/dev/sda3" successfully created.
        Creating devices file /etc/lvm/devices/system.devices
        Volume group "vg00" successfully created
      + lvcreate -L 50M -T vg00/thinpool
Rounding up size to full physical extent 52.00 MiB
Thin pool volume with chunk size 64.00 KiB can address at most <15.88 TiB of data.
        Logical volume "thinpool" created.
      + lvcreate -V 5G -T vg00/thinpool -n crashvol
        Logical volume "crashvol" created.

      Actual results
