What were you trying to do that didn't work?
It's no longer possible to report RHEL bugs to bugzilla.redhat.com, but the installer still offers this option. If the user tries it, it fails:
--- Running report_Bugzilla --- Logging into Bugzilla at https://bugzilla.redhat.com Checking for duplicates Creating a new bug fatal: RPC failed at server. Sorry, either the product Red Hat Enterprise Linux 8 does not exist or you aren't authorized to enter a bug into it. ('report_Bugzilla' exited with 1)
Disable this option by dropping the dependency on libreport-rhel-anaconda-bugzilla in anaconda.spec
Please provide the package NVR for which bug is seen:
RHEL-9.4
anaconda-34.25.4.5-1.el9
lorax-34.9.24-1.el9
lorax-templates-rhel-9.0-38.el9
libreport-2.15.2-6.el9
How reproducible:
Always
Steps to reproduce
- Start the installation in graphical mode
- Switch to TTY2
- kill -USR1 `cat /var/run/anaconda.pid`
- Return back to TTY6 and try to report the problem to bugzilla
Expected results
It is not possible to report bugs to bugzilla from anaconda.
Actual results
It is possible to attempt to report bugs to bugzilla from anaconda. It fails since bugzilla has been configured to reject new RHEL bugs.
