What were you trying to do that didn't work?
Logging back into system after unit goes into sleep mode
Please provide the package NVR for which bug is seen:
How reproducible:
On a system that was installed with DISA Security controls, simply manually lock the screen or the way we found the bug was edit the /etc/dconf/db/local.d/00-security-settings.conf file by changing the init32 value from 900 seconds to 15 seconds. The screen will then start to dim out, lock the screen , and then go into sleep mode. When woken up, It can either display the initial gnome login screen or it can wake up to the current user session login screen(as expected) but only for about 5 seconds when it will flicker, then screen will go black for about a second, and finally the initial gnome login screen will be displayed with users losing all tasks in their sessions
Steps to reproduce
- Edit file /etc/dconf/db/local.d/00-security-settings.conf by changing the 900 value to 15
- Wait for system to go into sleep mode
- Wake up system from sleep mode
- System will reset to initial gnome login screen rather than current user session login screen
Expected results
Wake up system into current user lock screen, login to system, and continue working where left off
Actual results
Wake up system to black screen, then flickers to initial gnome login screen or wake up system into current user lock screen, then flickers to black screen for a second, then initial gnome login screen is displayed.
