      Goal

      • enable kernel-bootcfg-boot-successful.service in systemd presets

This service is installed by uki-direct.rpm and it helps managing the uefi boot configuration when booting unified kernel images (UKIs) directly from shim.efi, without grub.efi or any other boot loader.

uki-direct.rpm is a sub-package of python-virt-firmware and should show up in rhel-9.4 nightly composes soon. Until that happened the package can be downloaded for inspection from koji or checked out on a fedora 39+ install.
