rpm -V shows ghost file having a modification with "c" instead of "g"

      What were you trying to do that didn't work?

      Verifying packages on the system, we can see that ghost files are displayed (when permissions are modified for example) with "c" attribute instead of "g", as shown in the example below:

       # chgrp bin /var/lib/rpm/__db.003
       # rpm -V rpm
       ......G..  c /var/lib/rpm/__db.003
                  ^
                  +--- WRONG
      
       # rpm --noghost -V rpm
       --> OK
      

      RHEL7 has this issue as well, but not RHEL9.

      Please provide the package NVR for which bug is seen:

      rpm-4.14.3-23.el8.x86_64
