Hi, I'm reporting this on behalf of a community member, there's a thread on centos-devel about this issue: https://lists.centos.org/pipermail/centos-devel/2024-January/165488.html

They have installed both idm-jss-tomcat and idm-tomcatjss and dnf upgrade doesn't work for them. I tried installing both packages on my system and get conflicts, see results below.

Installing each package individually works fine for me.

What were you trying to do that didn't work?

1. dnf install idm-jss-tomcat idm-tomcatjss

idm-jss-tomcat-5.5.0-0.2.alpha3.el9.x86_64

idm-tomcatjss-8.4.0-1.el9.noarch

How reproducible:

Always in CentOS Stream 9 at the time of submitting this.

Steps to reproduce

1. # dnf install idm-jss-tomcat idm-tomcatjss

Expected results

Both packages install 

Actual results

Error: 
 Problem: package idm-jss-tomcat-5.5.0-0.2.alpha3.el9.x86_64 conflicts with tomcatjss <= 8.5 provided by idm-tomcatjss-8.4.0-1.el9.noarch
  - cannot install the best candidate for the job
  - conflicting requests
