      With the removal of SPICE in RHEL 9.0, host to guest USB redirection is not possible or easily configurable.  We have customer requests for an "easier more streamlined usb redir client" 

       

      One use case is for software that works with specific USB hardware like ethernet cable testers which only have windows software versions.  The USB redirection was used to run windows (sometimes old versions like winxp or win7) passing through the USB device so the SW for that hardware can still be used and not need a dedicated system.
