General Description

_Live migration is an important feature on s390x, and increasingly on virt too. We need to be able to support this, and indeed have promised that we will do so to some important customers.

• Live migration of VMs on s390x works without risk of fencing incorrectly

Important notes

• 
  We need support from the cluster team for this feature first. We will also have to review GFS2 and the DLM's own cluster logic in order to be sure that we will not trigger a timeout on migration.
