Description of problem:
Installation of RHEL-9.x sometimes hangs in the "Preparing transactionfrom installation source" phase. It's not known whether Anaconda really gets stuck or just spends too long in this phase, as we've only observed it in our failed automated tests that were interrupted due to timeouts (installation taking too long).

Unknown at this point. Right now the purpose of this ticket is to have the bug tracked and potentially add more specific information if possible.

Installer hangs at "Preparing transaction from installation source"

Expected results:
Installation completes successfully

Additional info:
Originally cloned from RHELPLAN-41868, but later rewritten to better shape the description. We also don't know whether deactivating and reactivating the network link would help, as it was only observed in automated installations that timed out.
