That must be a common/popular setup where Dovecot (at least for vmail) uses fuse to store data.

I do it with GlusterFS and I get denied.

I set a local label on autofs mouted GlusterFS volume: /home = /VMAIL

but even then I still have to setsebool: use_fusefs_home_dirs

It would be much better - naturally - to have something direct for Dovecot + GlusterFS(fuse)
