      Description

FRR is widely used in our layered products and it would make sense to rebase it regularly during a major RHEL lifetime. I don't think it is reasonable to rebase it to the latest version - 9.0.1 since that was a major rebase and it will go to RHEL 10 from Fedora. But 8.5.3 would make sense to me and I believe that teams like OCP might benefit from that.

What SSTs and Layered Product teams should review this?

This might be important for OCP and MetalLB teams.
