      What were you trying to do that didn't work?

      - We want not to have many unwanted packages pulled in to RHEL 10.

      Please provide the package NVR for which bug is seen:

      • openmpi-5.0.0-1.eln132

        How reproducible:

      • always

        Steps to reproduce

      1. Look at:
        https://tiny.distro.builders/view-rpm--view-eln–tox.html
        https://tiny.distro.builders/view-rpm--view-eln--python3-myst-parser.html https://tiny.distro.builders/view-rpm--view-eln--python3-pytest-xdist.html
      2. Traverse up the dependency tree until you end up in openmpi (see also: https://src.fedoraproject.org/rpms/openmpi/c/b82bf993d00357a59002dba9ccb81b2d21466c6d?branch=rawhide)

      Expected results

      The unwanted packages are not present in ELN

      Actual results

      The unwanted packages are present in ELN:

      openmpi -> python3-recommonmark -> python3-CommonMark -> python3-hypothesis (unwanted) -> python3-sortedcontainers -> python3-matplotlib (unwanted) -> python3-pytest-rerunfailures -> tox -> everything else
