Customer suspect some of the BSOD could be lead by frequent VSS error: Error   2/1/2026 4:19:00 PM Volsnap 8   None; which means host side snapshot was not completed within 10s, which is the default timeout of Windows fsfreeze; Windows will automatically thaw itself by force after fsfreeze executed and customer believe there was data corruption in this process which accumulated and eventually lead to BSOD.

The VSS log and sosreport [1] did not hint correlation between snapshot failure and BSOD, but still we need to reproduce the snapshot failure on our environment with emulated nfs latency and exclude the possibility of it leading to BSOD.
