What were you trying to do that didn't work?

I had installed com.microsoft.Edge from flathub. The partition reserved for /var/lib/flatpak has a limited size. After a few upgraded, it was filled up.

What is the impact of this issue to you?

error during flatpak update, the flatpak wasn't updated

Steps to reproduce

1. install com.microsoft.Edge
2. do several updates

Expected results

constant disk space usage

Actual results

/var/lib/flatpak/app/com.microsoft.Edge took up 6.6G. After removing and reinstalling the same flatpak, it was just 640M.

This also happens with other proprietary flatpaks like us.zoom.Zoom.
