      Goal & Summary

Deprecate the TLS certificate management and synchronization functionality within PCS. This feature might be removed in the next major version of RHEL.

      Context

PCS currently provides commands to set and synchronize certificate and key pairs across cluster nodes. Historically, this ensured consistent certificate presentation when accessing the Web UI via a floating IP. In RHEL 10, the Web UI has transitioned to an application plugin for the RHEL web console (Cockpit), rendering the legacy PCS-managed synchronization obsolete.

      Acceptance Criteria

      • Release notes and official documentation are updated to explicitly state the deprecation.
      • Affected commands will print out deprecation warnings - see RHELHA-692 for more details.
