      Why?

      Problem Statement:

      We have several outstanding bugs reported in CMake which can be fixed by updating CMake to 3.26.5.

      Impact:

      This provides the latest features and bug fixes available in upstream CMake. This will also make it easier to backport fixes from upstream into RHEL, since the RHEL version will be closer to upstream.

      What?

      Requirements:

      • Build version 3.26.5 of CMake.

      Tasks: See child tasks.
      Acceptance Criteria: RPM builds attached to the errata.
