What were you trying to do that didn't work?

I'm trying to create a Cockpit virtual machine in Firefox.

What is the impact of this issue to you?

I have to use Chrome to create a Cockpit VM, despite Fedora and CentOS including Firefox as the default browser instead of Chromium.

Please provide the package NVR for which the bug is seen:

      cockpit and cockpit-machines

      How reproducible is this bug?:

      Steps to reproduce

      1. Log into Cockpit
      2. attempt to create a virtual machine in Firefox, it says "VM virtual_machine_name does not exist on system connection"

      Screencast: https://youtu.be/V7hQ3vwngws

      Expected results

It should create the VM regardless of browser.

      Actual results

Firefox says "VM virtual_machine_name does not exist on system connection", while Chrome can create it without issue.
