For RHEL 9.6 SAP E4S upgrades to RHEL 10.0 we've implemented https://github.com/oamg/leapp-repository/pull/1420 but we forgot that this change was supposed to be released to RHEL 9.6 E4S as part of the leapp-upgrade-el9toel10-0.23.0-1.el9.noarch.rpm in November 2025 together when this leapp package was released to RHEL 9.7.

At this point we could release the package RHEL 9.6 E4S but instead we'll update the leapp-rhui-aws-sap-e4s instead. This update will function similarly to the above mentioned GitHub change but releasing leapp-rhui-aws-sap-e4s is much easier as it's distributed by Red Hat engineering to AWS RHUI repos without too much of an overhead.

Currently the following packages are available in production AWS RHUI:

When trying to upgrade the system with the above package set, leapp fails with "Failed to identify target RHUI setup " error.

So to summarize - the goal is to update only leapp-rhui-aws-sap-e4s to resolve the error and thus allow for a successful upgrade.
