      What were you trying to do that didn't work?

      The customer would like to update python to 3.12 and keep subscription-manager compatible/working. Whenever keeping only python 3.12, the subscription-manager will fail.

      What is the impact of this issue to you?

      Not able to bump python to the latest version and keep subscription-manager working properly.

      Steps to reproduce

      1. update python to 3.12
      2. remove any older version of python
      3. try to reregister this rhel 9 box against customer portal or red hat satellite
