Description

GB18030-2022 comes into effect 1st August 2023 and RHEL needs to support Level 2 or 3.
Since we refreshed our current certification in April 2023, we need to complete
the new certification by April 2024 at the latest.

Acceptance Criteria

A list of specific needs or objectives must be delivered to satisfy the epic.

• update zhongyi-song-fonts to GB18030-2022 Level 2 compliance: need updated font from Zhong-Yi vendor
• glibc's GB18030 support should be extended to cover the 2022 extension (196 new codepoints)
• (stretch) ICU may also need to be updated
