[NMCI] nmtui_bond_add_mode_8023ad (and others 8023ad ) test failure

      Given that a software engineer is running the NetworkManager test suite on a VM with virtio-based networking cards

      When they execute nmtui_bond_add_mode_8023ad and other 8023ad tests from NMCI

      Then they should not observe any test failures during the VM setup phase.

       

      Definition of Done:

      • The implementation meets the acceptance criteria
      • The code is part of a downstream build attached to an errata
      • The fix should be backported into RHEL-9.2, RHEL-9.3 and RHEL-9.4

      Description of problem:
      we see a bunch of tests failing on VM setup with virtio-based networking cards. Regression since May 3. Later backported to 1.42 too.

      1. run the test from NMCI

      fail
