      Description
rhel-drivers cannot install a user-selected NVIDIA driver version other than the latest: when a specific version is requested (e.g., rhel-drivers install nvidia:580.105.08), the operation fails during DNF dependency resolution with a version conflict (“cannot install both … 590.* and … 580.*”, “conflicting requests”, exit status 1). As a result, only the latest NVIDIA driver version can be installed successfully via rhel-drivers, while attempts to pick an older supported version consistently error out.

      Root Cause
rhel-drivers installs unversioned nvidia-fabricmanager and nvidia-fabric-manager-devel, which resolve to latest (590.*) even when a specific version is requested.

      Fix
      When user requests nvidia:$ver, install version-matched: nvidia-fabricmanager-$ver, nvidia-fabric-manager-devel-$ver
