Virt-v2v 2.10 adds new --memsize and --smp options which allow the amount of memory and number of vCPUs assigned to the appliance to be controlled. This allows us to temporarily work around problems such as RHEL-137515 (and others) where a problem with the tools we use like xfs_repair causes the appliance to run out of memory, until they can be properly fixed.
From the release notes:
https://github.com/libguestfs/virt-v2v/blob/master/docs/virt-v2v-release-notes-2.10.pod
New --memsize and --smp options which let you override the default amount of memory and number of vCPUs assigned to the appliance. For certain complex guests it is occasionally necessary to adjust these, although usually virt-v2v should do the right thing automatically.
