      Then, NetworkManager fails the VPN connection with NM_ACTIVE_CONNECTION_STATE_REASON_DEVICE_REMOVED or similar, logs critical warning 'VPN IP config failed: parent device unavailable', and continues running without crash (exit code 0)

      ( ) Integration test case is available upstream.
