      pcp2opentelemetry always fails when exporting a metric of type 'counter'.

      PCP version: pcp-7.0.3-1.el10

      Reproducer:
      The following command fails ...

      # pcp2opentelemetry -s 1 kernel.all.pswitch
      { "//": "Waiting for 1 metrics to be written to stdout:" }
      { "//": "1 samples(s) with 10.0 sec interval ~ 0 sec runtime." }
      ERROR: metric(s) invalid

      ... even the metric is valid and provides values

      # pminfo -fd kernel.all.pswitch
      kernel.all.pswitch
          Data Type: 64-bit unsigned int InDom: PM_INDOM_NULL 0xffffffff
          Semantics: counter  Units: count
          value 17354830
