      What were you trying to do that didn't work? installed routine DNF updates introduced a segfault bug where FreeRADIUS segfaults if it cannot find one of the remote servers. Affected package version - 3.0.27-1

      What is the impact of this issue to you?

      Cannot update FreeRADIUS and other packages to latest version due to segfault bug.

      How reproducible is this bug?: Bug can be reproduced by running the affected version and have it try to connect to a remote server that is unreachable. More here: https://lists.freeradius.org/pipermail/freeradius-users/2024-November/104959.html

      Expected results Service service should log an alert that the remote server is unavailable but should still be usable.

      Actual results service crashes segfault
