What were you trying to do that didn't work?

The user wishes for the Logrotate package (logrotate rpm) to be set to hourly rotation by default to avoid the need for manual adjustment of the timer (logrotate.timer). Can the default option for logrotate be set to hourly?

Please provide the package NVR for which bug is seen: logrotate-3.18.0-8.el9

      How reproducible: Always

      Steps to reproduce

      1. Install logrotate
      2. Check default configuration /etc/logrotate.conf

Expected results : Logrotate could be set to hourly as default as users need to otherwise set logrotate.timer

Actual results : Logrotate is set default to weekly.
