During RHEL 10.0 to RHEL 10.1 upgrade I noticed error claiming inability to
create /home/pkiuser directory.
This is probably caused by pre-install script from the idm-pki-server
package which tries to create it. I also noticed that pkiuser
home directory is /home/pkiuser in /etc/passwd. This is different
compared to what I've seen in RHEL 9.x systems, where pkiuser home
was /usr/share/pki.
The problem is caused by a fact that /home is managed by autofs on
my systems.
Why is system user account using place designated for human users,
which in any network would be a shared directory from the NFS server?
