      As detailed in ENGCMP-5734, kernel RPM's mechanism to make sure kernel-modules-extra gets installed for each installed kernel if a package requiring it is being installed (implemented in RHEL-87452) becomes problematic if the repository for one of the installed kernels becomes unavailable. Since kernel packages are not removed upon package update, this typically happens when installing from DVD for instance.

      Instead, return to the next best option described in RHEL-83068, which is to require a flavour of kernel-modules-extra matching the installed kernel flavour.
