      Goal

      • As a VM guest user, I like to request a custom display resolution form inside the guest, so that my graphical Windows application can utilize a the requested display resolution.

      Acceptance criteria

      • Configuration of a custom non-standard display resolution can set from inside the Windows guest.

       

      CNV-63749 allows to set the display resolution from outside the VM, so that the guest does not need to be modified, while this issue is about setting the display resolution from inside the VM.

      It has to be evaluated if this issue needs to be addressed, or if CNV-63749 is already sufficient.

       

      As soon as CNV-71195 is released, CNV users are enabled to use virtio grahpics device, so it should be fine if this issue is limited to virtio.
