      What were you trying to do that didn't work?

      RHEL8.10 with systemd-239-82.el8_10.5.x86_64 crashes GUI and all running items when StopIdleSessionSec with KillProcesses=no is set.

      What is the impact of this issue to you?

      Client delivery delay due to regression of behavior. This issue had previously been fixed and now it's happening again.

      100%

      Steps to reproduce

      1.  Install RHEL8.10 with systemd-239-82.el8_10.5,x86_64
      2.  Modify /etc/systemd/logind.conf
        1. Set StopIdleSessionSec to a short timeout
        2. Set KillUserProcesses=no
      3. Restart systemd-logind service
      4. Log into system as root or whatever.
        1. Open Terminal or places
      5. Wait number of seconds specified in 2.1.
      6. GUI is killed and have to change VT to number 1 to see login prompt again.

      Expected results

      GUI is not killed and user can unlock GUI to continue system usage

      Actual results

      GUI is killed and system left in an uninstantiated VT.
