What were you trying to do that didn't work?

There is a typo in /usr/share/microcode_ctl/ucode_with_caveats/intel-06-8f-08/config file.

1. cat /usr/share/microcode_ctl/ucode_with_caveats/intel-06-8f-08/config 
   model GenuineIntel 06-8f-08
   path intel-ucode/06-87-08    <---  it should be 8f, not 87

...
