      We're working on bringing awscli2 into RHEL 9 via CLOUDX-597 and one of the requirements is python-flit-core. It's used for the wheel building process to ensure all of the awscli2 schema structure is assembled in the wheel.

      mhroncok@redhat.com suggested in the ticket that his team might be able to maintain this package in RHEL.
