What were you trying to do that didn't work?

      • Provision a VM using the "automation" feature in cockpit machines

What is the impact of this issue to you?

      • N/A, testing the feature currently from a support standpoint

        How reproducible is this bug?:

      • 100%

        Steps to reproduce

      1. "Create VM" from cockpit machines
      2. Choose to "download an image" - for my testing, I chose RHEL 9.4
      3. Choose "automation" set the root and user password
      4. Create the VM

      Expected results

      • The VM should be created with the correct user and root passwords

        Actual results

      • VM boots to the anaconda installer, and the above users are not created
