What were you trying to do that didn't work?

reduce the amount of noise in our kernel logs. In particular these logs also documented in https://access.redhat.com/solutions/7046499

in our case can be seen by running lshw (as done regularly by a third party agent as well)

      sudo lshw -c system

      [89300.989928] mlx5_core c9cb:00:02.0: mlx5_query_module_eeprom:437:(pid 763019): Module ID not recognized: 0x0

What is the impact of this issue to you?

Please provide the package NVR for which the bug is seen:

      lshw-B.02.20-1.el9.x86_64
