What were you trying to do that didn't work?

Freeradius service attempting to start after an upgrade to freeradius-3.2.8-1.el10.x86_64 rolling back to freeradius-3.2.5-5.el10.x86_64 fixes it right away.

What is the impact of this issue to you?

Prevents Freeradius from running, though we just downgraded and the production server is good now.

Please provide the package NVR for which the bug is seen:

      freeradius-3.2.8-1.el10.x86_64

      How reproducible is this bug?:

On this single machine very, I haven't had a chance to test this on another machine. It also does seem to run if launched as root, only fails when systemd is starting it. Unit file is unchanged. Downgrading fixes it instantly and upgrading breaks it again.

      Steps to reproduce

      1. systemctl start radiusd
      2.
      3.

      Expected results

      Sep 24 09:44:25 radius-1 systemd[1]: Started radiusd.service - FreeRADIUS high performance RADIUS server..

      Actual results

Sep 24 09:31:19 radius-1 systemd[1]: Failed to start radiusd.service - FreeRADIUS high performance RADIUS server..
