      plug/unplug eth cable, ifconfig always can see the ip address

      What is the impact of this issue to you?

      plug/unplug cable, ifconfig always can see the ip address,canot detect the etho cable status by ifconfig

      Steps to reproduce

      1. Configure New York server as mentioned below.
      2. Step2: Unplug a network cable and check the status of the link in OS using ifconfig or [ip a] and plug and check the status in OS, observe link status failed to disable/enable automatically in OS.
      3. plug/unplug eth cable, ifconfig always can see the ip address

      Expected results

      remove cable, ifconfig eth port ip disappeared.

      Actual results

      remove cable, ifconfig always can see the ip address.

       

      Addition info: we also test redhat9.7 and redhat9.4, it also sees the same phenomenon, we just confirm whether it is a normal phenomenon.
