Goal

• As a developer of KubeVirt, I want to be able to stream the output of qcow2 while converting it from raw disk image to the client from the virt-exportserver using qemu/qemu-img or any other supported tooling by Red Hat.

Acceptance criteria

A list of verification conditions, successful functional tests, or expected outcomes in order to declare this story/task successfully completed.

• Verify that qemu-img is able to stream the output of qcow2 while converting it from raw disk image to the client from the server.

Notes

• We have a customer requests to have an optimized way of exporting VM's disk image from the Kubernetes cluster to the container registry.
