This was uncovered by a partner testing PRP. The test setup and results are well documented in presentation in the attachment issue ATTACH-15396.

What were you trying to do that didn't work?

Two machines connected over a PRP network, i.e., two LANs, where one LAN introduces different percentages of packet loss.

      Expected results

No or very low packet loss because PRP is intended to provide redundancy for the network.

      Actual results

Significantly higher packet loss that in a comparable setup with hardware PRP implementations (Hirschmann RSPE35).
